Custom domain

Email, assets and the API on your own domain.

With Custom domain in your plan, Graph can send email and serve your media and API from your own domain instead of graphcms.io. Set it up under Settings → Custom domain.

Choose your domain

Enter your root domain, without http:// or www (for example example.com). Then point a subdomain at each service you want:

ServiceWhat it's for
EmailWhere campaign and system emails are sent from.
AssetsThe CDN domain for media and files.
APIYour content API endpoint.

Add the DNS records

Each subdomain lists the DNS records it needs.

  1. Sign in to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare and so on).
  2. Open the DNS settings for your domain.
  3. Add each record exactly as shown.
  4. Wait a few minutes, then choose Verify DNS on the subdomain.

Verification usually takes a few minutes, but DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to reach everywhere. A subdomain that's verified needs nothing more.

Removing the domain

Removing the domain clears every subdomain's setup. It can't be undone.
